Costa Azul is a very typical Panamanian restaurant, open 24 hours, that serves a huge menu of sandwiches, traditional Panamanian dishes and excellent seafood. A favorite late night treat here is the Cuban Sandwich, or Sancocho de Gallina. If you come for a full meal, try the Langostinos al Criollo (Creole Shrimp) – they come out still sizzling and are delicious. |
They have the best french fries in Panama. The food is affordable with great service!
The Costa Azul is a traditional restaurant. The menu ranges from Spanish to international cuisine. Delicious food, great price and wonderful service.
The worst Cuban sandwich I’ve had in Panama. No Swiss cheese, no yellow mustard, and no pickles. What it did have was a slice of ham, good roast pork and too much mayonnaise!! Mayonnaise on a Cuban Sandwich with mozzarella cheese…not in any Cuban restaurant I’ve been in, in FL or elsewhere.
I’ve had other menu items that are much better.
